Squeezing the last bits out of summer

Today and yesterday have been phenominal weather! I even complained yesterday it was too hot.I took this selfie yesterday at brunch with my tribe. Everyone had the same potluck notion and it was one dish after another of comfort food! Potatoes, egg casserole, and I made a delicious mac & cheese with everything in my fridge.

I have decided that the cure for the winter blues is travel so am full throttle into planning. Boston in two weeks (that's my usual stop for my birthday month) with a side trip to NYC. Denver in November and Vegas in December. And if that wasn't enough, I'm starting to put together the details for my trip to Italy in April! Always wanted to go. The best part is that my girlfriend is coming along. Traveling alone is amazing. Traveling with a pal is even better! So adventure most certainly awaits me this year and next.

Between now and then I have a birthday! They do add up, don't they? As long as they keep adding up, I guess I'll be fine. And my life seems to get better every year - even faster than ever before. I could "squee" with joy sometimes except I hate it when people squee. Been heading to the gym more regularly - not often, but regularly which is an improvement anyhow. And even occasionally riding my super awesome purple bike!

The only think standing between me and perfection is knowing where my fall clothes are! Love to you all!
