A Hell of a Start

Hello Snowpocalypse 2017! As if a foot of snow isn't enough, I'm sick on top of it! Backpage has been shut down, and I can only imagine how many of the million women and girls working in the United States are concerned for their livelihood as well as the little freedoms we already hold as women working under the radar. I am often saddened by the fact that so many have some to this work in bad and worse circumstances. If it all wasn't so hidden, then it wouldn't be so easy to force women and girls into sexual slavery.

Call me old-fashioned, but I think that all women deserve to grow up to have positive consensual sexual experiences, free from abuse so that they may be able to freely choose to pay that forward - as I have - in order to provide positive, consensual sexual experiences for others. That was a very long sentence and about as political as I get - ever! But I wish all women's experience in this avocation could be as positive as mine and that they were able to look upon their clients as lovingly as I do.

Gosh. You caught me (or me you) on a passionate and sentimental day. It may just be the cabin fever. I need to get out in the sun and among my people.

I will be in San Diego next week - I'm thrilled for some sun and family time as well as meeting new friends. Fingers crossed the snow melts soon and that the groundhog does not see his shadow this year!
