I'm Back!

Do forgive me, my pets. I've neglected you once again! It's been a while since I've posted but I've a pretty good excuse as I was off seeing the world! Half a day in NYC (with a rickshaw through central park!) 5 days in Venice, 2 days in Paris (I couldn't believe how quickly my Jr High french came back to me), 2 days in Rome, an hour in Naples (sadly), 3 days in Positano and finally a little less than 24 hours in Dublin. WOW, is it any wonder I'm still tired?

This is me in my window in Venice on a sunny day. venice is an amazing city and I simply love getting around everywhere by boat. A tapas tour of the old Jewish Ghetto area and environs, a fabulous church or two and lots of walking, eating and shopping. It's true what they say - DONT overpack!

Positano - while difficult to get to (especially where we were) - is a magical place and I had no idea it would feel that special to me. Dublin was SO MUCH fun. So many parties in the street, musicians busking and cute boys walking the streets! A day was not enough and I plan to go back.

The readjustment was a little harder than usual - jetlag and all - but I'm feeling back to my old Portland self again. Just in time for amazing weather (even if slightly hotter than I prefer) and summer is around the corner.
